“Member” means the person or company who is named on the Membership form and for whom, following acceptance by Ricardo Energy & Environment, can benefit from the services offered by the programme, in accordance with the terms under which it operates. Ricardo Energy & Environment is targeted to recruit 30 companies with expertise in energy products, systems and services which are suitable for islands and remote communities (remote means off-grid but may be on the mainland).

We are aiming for a diverse membership in terms of:

  • Geography: Our members will be from the Scottish highlands, islands and mainland.
  • Focus of activities: Our members will come from a wide range of organisations within the energy sectors providing a variety of products and services.
  • International experience: Some members will have experience of an international presence and others will be committed to develop this.
