SME mission to South Africa: Call for ‘Expressions of Interest’

Expressions of Interest (EOI) by midday Friday 14/02/2020

Energy Systems Catapult has been working on a project in South Africa in partnership with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the energy utility Eskom and Sustainable Energy Africa supported by the Newton Fund.  Its aim is to help South Africa municipalities and electricity distributors better understand the prosumer business case for rooftop PV deployment, and to assess the impact of these installations on South African distribution networks.  They are now calling for EOIs from small and medium sized businesses (SMEs ), who are innovating in the power sector, to join a mission to South Africa in order to build partnerships and showcase their expertise.

The trip is planned for Monday 30th March – Friday 3rd April 2020

Up to five SMEs will be selected by an expert panel; they must be a UK registered business having innovating experience in one of the following areas:

  • Power & Electricity
  • Solar
  • Energy Storage
  • Smart Grid
  • Clean Technologies
  • Electrical Vehicles Infrastructure
